Mon parcours

Une amie de ma mère, Berthy Bijlard, m'a initiée à la création de bijoux avec des perles. A 14 ans j'ai fait mes premières boucles d'oreilles avec ses pinces et du fil en métal. Elle m'a également enseigné la broderie au point de croix, ce qui est, comme le tissage de perles, une façon de dessiner avec de gros pixels. Mille mercis à toi Berthy. Tu m'as donné plus de bonheur que tu ne peux l'imaginer.

A friend of my mother, Berthy Bijlard, initiated me to beaded jewelry. At the age of 14, I made my first earwires with her pliers and wire. She also taught me cross-stitch embroidery, which I consider - together with beading - as being equivalent to drawing with large pixels. Thank you so much Berthy for giving me so much happyness.
